Beam Pro™ 4G/5G Cell Phone Signal Booster

Installed this in a connex tiny home at my deer lease. Barely got one bar on AT&T and everything loaded very slowly. When I would stand in front of the window. As soon as I plugged it in I got 3 bars and everything loads better than if I was outside! My buddy on T-mobile gets about the same. Make sure you use the open signal app to find the nearest cell tower to aim the outside antenna at.

Review of: Beam Boost Cell Phone Signal Booster Kit | I have an unusual situation with a large (9000sf) enclosed garage that has a metal exterior and interior (exterior is metal, then insulation, then steel walls) where I get virtually no cell signal. Without having the garage door open, I am lucky to see one bar on my phone, and I usually cannot make a call (or receive any calls) with that one bar. I decided to give this a try and so far, it seems to be working pretty well. Setup was extremely easy - just connected the appropriate wires, and mounted the outdoor antenna to a pole (I cannot permanently mount the antenna outside this space, so I just place the pole outside when I need cell signal) about 7 feet off the ground, and then powered it up. After about 30 seconds, the lights settled down, giving me two orange bars and two green bars (on the Beam Boost module), and about 4 bars on my phone. I have 3-4 bars most of the time anywhere within this garage now, and I have been able to receive and initiate calls and also text messages. I have noticed signal drops once in a while, but I actually think this has to do with the poor cell network coverage in this area since I sometimes have issues getting a good signal even outside of this enclosed garage space. I did check into the location of the nearest cell towers to point the external antennae towards this tower. This is a VERY IMPORTANT STEP, as you will not necessarily get a good signal if the outside antennae are not pointed properly. Also note that the instructions clearly state not to point the antennae toward the indoor antennae, as this would presumably cause the antennae to pick up the Beam Boost signal, which is NOT what you want here. If this is able to continue to provide a reliable signal, I believe the cost (~$400) is certainly worth it. Yes, it is expensive, but there are situations and locations where you just don't get a good signal, and if you don't have the option of using a good wifi connection for cellular (some carriers support this), you don't have many options. If you need an indoor cell signal and know you can get a signal outside, this will take care of your problem. Just make sure you have a way to run the cable from the outside antenna to your indoor transmitter location. They do provide two 30-foot runs of cable and a flat section of cable that can be used to run the cable through a window while still letting the window close (for most types of windows at least). Instructions are well done, and all of the pieces are labelled and numbered so you can get them hooked up easily. My only complaint is that it is unclear what each of the four lights on the Beam Boost unit actually is showing. It is apparently different cellular bands or something, but the instructions were not clear on really explaining. But I don't really care about this too much right now (I will check into it further at some point), as long as I can make and receive calls.

This is not my first cell booster. Nor it my second. It's the fourth one I've installed. I've put one on the vehicle for overlanding. I've installed one at my buddies farm. And I've installed one out in the garage. I'm actually downgrading, because the one in the garage provided more coverage than what was needed. I've had considerable results with each one.So I had some solid expectations for this installation.Once again, the packaging is well thought out and very helpful.First off, the installation steps overlayed onto parts packaging is a great idea. I was able to put this together up and running while pulling the parts out of the box.I've install this in my detached garage. There was more than enough cabling for my application. I mounted the booster onto stud and mounted the transmitter antenna under the breezeway cover.The calibration was easy since I was familiar with the process from the previous installations. Just like the previous installs, I went from two bars to four. Another successful boost. These things really perform as advertised.

This let me go from one to 3, sometimes 4 bars in our cabin. Hooked it on on a pole with the tv antennae 15 feet in the air and facing toward the nearest tower. Allows me to Zoom from the cabin for work with little issues. I have found that it works better the closer you are to the inside antennae. Draws very little power from the battery.

Our camp building is steel framed and inside we could only get one bar for cell service, at best. Since installing the Beam Boost Home Room cellphone booster we now get four bars of cell service inside the camp building and that with the nearest cell phone tower being 23 miles away. It was easy to install too, about 40 minutes. I would highly recommend this product.

Beam Boost works extremely well. I had absolutely no service before installing this product and now I and anyone at my residence had full service to access whatever we need. Calls are clear, and messages arrive timely and go out instantly. I am now able to access the web using my phone's data connection. Highly recommend this product.
